Biography
Born in 1979, in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo. In 2002, he registered as an attorney-at-law and took up his current position at Mori Sogo law firm (now Mori Hamada & Matsumoto). He graduated from Harvard Law School in 2007 and from 2008 worked at the Silicon Valley law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges. In the same year, he registered as an attorney-of-law in New York State. He served as Lecturer at the College of Law and Politics, Rikkyo University 2010 to 2011 and has been a Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of Business, Aoyama University since 2011. In 2012 he became Advisor for Damage from Counterfeit Products at the Japan Institute for Promoting Invention and Innovation. Since 2015 he has been a Lecturer for the Infringement Litigation Training Program for Patent Attorneys at the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
