Biography
Born in 1968, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. After graduating in electrical engineering (Faculty of Science and Engineering) from Doshisha University, he joined CSK Corporation, which had SEGA Enterprises under its umbrella at that time, in 1992. As a programmer, he participated in various development projects, covering several home video games, and implementation of script compilers for RGB games. In 1996, he took part in founding DigitalDesign Co, Ltd., planning and developing its original compression and transfer protocol for a relational database (RDB) (which later obtained an international patent), and launching a middleware business. In 2000, DigitalDesign became the first company to be listed on the NASDAQ Japan market. In 2008, he joined Global Brain Corporation and was involved in fostering investment. (Now he is in charge of incubating partnerships.) In November 2015, he joined WonderPlanet Inc. as the outside Director.
