Victor M. Zayas, Md

Biography

Dr. Victor Zayas is board certified in both anesthesiology and pediatrics.  He came to HSS from Columbia-Presbyterian's Children's Hospital where he was an attending in pediatric anesthesia and pediatric critical care. Dr. Zayas developed pediatric regional anesthesia techniques that are still used today while serving as the Director of Pediatric Anesthesiology until 2014. Dr. Zayas has authored several book chapters and manuscripts on various topics in anesthesiology, including scoliosis surgery and problem-oriented management.
