Biography
Mary T. Afflerbach is vice president, corporate secretary and chief governance officer at Air Products. She is responsible for advising Air Products’ Board of Directors on legal and regulatory matters pertaining to corporate governance, has accountability for the company’s U.S. Securities Law compliance, and manages the Corporate Secretary’s Office. Ms. Afflerbach joined Air Products in 1989 as a tax attorney. She was named assistant general counsel–securities and corporate governance in 2004 and corporate secretary and chief governance officer in 2009. Ms. Afflerbach holds a B.A. degree in political and social thought from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.
