Biography
Born 29th February, 1920 in Jaffa, Abdel-Hadi Hammoudeh surpassed and surprised not only his family, but also the entire village by attending the American University of Beirut (AUB) to study business administration. He did extremely well and graduated with a first class honors in 1941. His integrity was immediately recognized by Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) who employed him to manage their offices in Palestine until 1948. They were particularly impressed by the fact that although there was war, Abdel-Hadi withheld his job and the security of their offices together with the finances of their customers.
