Biography
Kirsten completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at St. Francis Xavier University before going on to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at McMaster University. She worked previously as a Kinesiologist and sports conditioning coach with a wide range of athletes in hockey, soccer, rugby, and football. She played rugby for 10 years at the university, provincial and national level. She currently enjoys running, hiking and camping. Kirsten has over 6 years of clinical experience and has taken many post-graduate courses including Levels 1, 2 & 3 in the orthopaedic manual therapy series and several myofascial release type courses. Her approach to treatment combines joint mobility and stability approach in addition to a strengthening component and always providing a home exercise program.
