Biography
Bernard Birkett joins our corporate team in Utah after 17 years with Merit in Europe. He has served as Controller responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) from 2000 and as Vice President of International Finance from 2010. He has been a leader in the development of Merit’s global business. He has significant international business transformation and management experience including financial management, operations and business development. Birkett is a Qualified Accountant with a Business degree from National University of Ireland Galway, a Masters in Banking and Finance from Smurfit Business School Dublin, and has completed a program at Stanford Graduate School of Business in Strategic Leadership for CFO’s.
