Biography

Ebaa Fayyoumi is currently an Associate Professor at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Jordan. Dr. Fayyoumi earned her B.Sc. degree from the Hashemite University, Zarqa, Jordan, in 2000, followed by her M.Sc. degree from the University of Jordan, Amman, in 2002. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from Carleton University, Ottawa, ON, Canada, in 2008. She joined the Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Faculty for Information Technology at the Hashemite University in November 2008. Prior to joining the Hashemite University, she was a Lecturer at Carleton University. Her current research interests include statistical syntactical pattern recognition, micro-aggregation techniques, secure statistical databases, automata learning, applied algorithms, mobile applications, and e-learning. She has received many awards during her academic career, one of them being the Carleton University Medal for outstanding graduate work in 2008.
