Dr. Mohammad Abuhashesh went to Moraine Valley Community College to get his Associate Degree in Business Administration. He then went to Governor State University in University Park, Illinois to get his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, followed by a Master’s degree with high honors, at which time he was included in the Dean’s list. Dr. Mohammad continued his education by going to Argosy University of Chicago to get his Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). The DBA program focused on marketing and business strategy. Dr. Mohammad completed all classes with high honors (Cumulative GPA: 3.96), also passing the Comprehensive Exam at the first attempt. In addition, Dr. Mohammad was one of the few students at Argosy University who focused on Marketing and Social Media Strategy as part of business growth. Dr. Mohammad is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at PSUT, as well as being involved in other activities. In addition to being a regional trainer for Speedway LLC since 2006, Dr. Abuhashesh served as a general manager at the same company (2006-2016). During those years, Dr. Mohammad has been creating a unique training experience for every one that comes through Speedway training program by developing unique training sessions that fit every employee who comes through the program. The training contains four different phases that develop a new hire to become a successful manager. Dr. Mohammad focuses on education as a key to success and knowledge. Dr. Mohammad conducted a study about “Integration of Social Media in Businesses” which was published in the International Journal of Business and Social Science. Furthermore, Dr. Mohammad is a certified instructor for the National Institute for Social Media (NISM). Dr. Mohammad has expanded his experience and activities in different forms in order to enhance his knowledge and creative skills in social media, business strategy, and customer relationships. Dr. Mohammad focuses on customer relationships and retention which was his Doctorate dissertation topic. Dr. Mohammad’s mission is to help and teach students to stop waiting and start creating a career in management, marketing, finance, and social media strategy. Dr. Mohammad’s activities and accomplishments: • Assistant Professor in Business Administration and Marketing at PSUT • Member of Speedway Loyalty program and customer relationships management • Member of Speedway Advisory Board. • Member of American Marketing Association since 2013. • Member in Sigma Beta Delta “National Honor Society in Business, Management, And Administration” since April, 2013. • Leadership certification from University of Enon, Ohio (Speedway LLC). • Certified instructor for the National Institute for Social Media (NISM).
