Nihad Abdel-rauf Said Yusuf

Biography

Professor Nihad Yusuf received his B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Jordan in 1973, his M.Sc. from University of Houston, USA in 1976 and his PhD from Pennsylvania State University, USA in 1981. He has long experience serving in higher education in Jordan and the Middle East. Professor Yusuf has published about forty research papers in reputed journals and conferences. He has served as Head of the Physics Department at Yarmouk University, Jordan; Director of the Center of Theoretical and Applied Physics, Yarmouk University; and Head of the Physics Department at the United Arab Emirates University. Furthermore, Professor Yusuf served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Jordan Journal of Physics for 6 years and as Editor in Chief of the same Journal for a further two years. He is currently serving as Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Jordan.
