Madison Brown

Biography

 Madison Brown is another of our Western Sydney University graduates, with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Physiotherapy. After graduating from Westfields Sports High School as a member of the netball program, Madison continued to participate in high level sport at university as a member of the elite athlete program for rowing. In her final year, Madison excelled in paediatric physiotherapy, receiving the Elsevier Paediatric Physiotherapy Award for the highest mark in paediatrics (also being the only student in the history of the Western Sydney program to receive high distinctions in both the theory and practical subjects). While Madison achieved outstanding results in many other areas of physiotherapy, it was her passion for sports and helping people recover from injuries that led her to musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and The Healthy Body Company. Madison has competed at a high level in a wide variety of sports. As a teenager Madison was selected in state teams for both netball and AFL. After injury, her passion for sport moved to rowing where she has won both state and national titles in both the traditional still water rowing and in surf boat rowing. She understands the demands placed on athletes at all levels of competition, and has a distinct passion for rehabilitating injuries so athletes can return to performing at their best.
