Zhannat Satubaldina

Biography

Ms. Satubaldina holds a degree of the candidate of economic sciences, and has extensive experience in public and private companies in oil and gas, transport, finance and banking. Ms. Zhannat Satubaldina graduated from Almaty Institute of National Economy, has post-graduate education from the Moscow State University n.a. M. Lomonossov, and holds diploma of the New-York Finance Institute. Ms. Satubaldina started her career as juniour research fellow at the Research Institute under the Goverment Planning of Kazakh SSR, and later she was a lecturer at the Almaty Institute of National Economy. In 1993 Ms. Satubaldina started to work in the banking sector supervising budgeting division of Kazmetallbank. In 1994-1999 she was the First Deputy Manager of the OJSC Metallinvest. In 1999-2002 she worked in the financial sector regulation and supervision bodies as the head of licensing and supervision, deputy Director of the Securities Markets Department of the National Bank of Kazakhstan. In 2002 Ms. Satubaldina started to work at the JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, and for four years in a row she held positions of the Chief Accountant, Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer.
