Biography
Dr. Alex Pappachen James was Head of Department - Electrical Engineering (2017-), Director of Bioinspired Microelectronics Systems Lab (2015-), Chair of the faculty senate (2016-17); Nazarbayev University [2013- present]. Ph.D. [2 years] (on hardware face recognition) from Griffith School of Engineering, Griffith University; Masters [2 years] (on current mirrors) and Bachelors (honors) [4 years] (on fuzzy logic) with the highest distinction (summa cum laude) in Electronics Engineering. 80+ papers on mixed-signal circuits, algorithms, and systems for intelligent pattern recognition systems especially with memristive devices and circuits.
Research Interest
Dr. Alex Pappachen James was scientist working on various aspects of circuits and systems for deep neuromorphic networks, image processing, and pattern recognition.
