Biography

Desmond Adair holds a PhD in Aerodynamics from Imperial College, University of London. He has spent a number of years working with the Fixed-Wing Division, NASA-Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California, the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, England and British Aerospace, Warton, Lancs., England. Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Engineering, Nazarbayev University. He has spent a number of years working with the Fixed-Wing Division, NASA-Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California, the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, England and British Aerospace, Warton, Lancs., England.

Research Interest

Current research areas include, computational aerodynamics, vibration characteristics of rotating beams, Li-ion electrochemical and thermal simulations and engineering education.
