Biography
Dr. Abid Nadeem has joined Nazarbayev University in June 2014 in the School of Engineering as Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering Department. Before coming to Nazarbayev University, Dr. Nadeem has served as an Assistant Professor at Qatar University, Lecturer at the Hong Kong College of Technology and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr Nadeem has a PhD from City University of Hong Kong, Master of Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok Thailand and Bachelor of Science(Honors) in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore Pakistan.
Research Interest
In the research, Dr. Nadeem has published over 20 journal and 20 refereed conference papers in the areas of construction management and concrete technology. His research interests are mainly in the area of Building Information Modeling, Sustainable Construction, and Construction Safety, elevated temperature performance of concrete, fly ash and metakaolin concrete and delay analysis construction projects.
