Biography
Dr. Sudheesh Thiyya Kkandi joined Nazarbayev University as Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering program of School of Engineering in February 2016. He earned his PhD in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical specialization from the University of Florida. Dr. Sudheesh has several years of diverse experience in the area of civil engineering, as Lecturer and Assistant Professor, Post-doctoral Fellow, and Geotechnical Engineer. He is currently a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, USA.
Research Interest
His research interests include fundamental Geomechanics, biogeotechnics, and cold region geotechnics.
