Thanasis D. Papathanasiou was Professor and Head of Department of Chemical Engineering, School of Engineering. 2008-2017-Assoc. Professor and Professor, Mechanical Engineering University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece.
Research Interest
Materials processing (injection molding and calendering of polymers, liquid molding and pultrusion of composites), Computer-aided design of forming operations for composite materials and Meso-scale characterization and prediction of processing-structure-property interactions in composites through meso-scale modelling.
