Biography
EDUCATION 1986-1989 Bsc. Agriculture at the University of Nairobi 1989-1991 M.Sc. Horticulture at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, University of Nairobi 1995-1999 Ph.D Horticulture, Hannover University 2010 Visiting Research Fellowship by Nagoya University, Japan to conduct research in the biotic constraints of rice.
Research Interest
A professor of Floriculture, teaches course in floriculture and ornamental Horticulture has research intesrest in Evaluation of Macadamia Shells as a component of Pot Plant Media Case studies on Agro-Biodiversity in Mwingi. Pollination studies in pigeon peas. FAO, Sponsored, Kenya Horticultural Development Project KHDP flower trials, Yellow Oleander Project Agronomy Trials Postharvest quality of Moby Dick cutflowers
