Rebecca Waihenya is a professor Department of Zoology, School of Biological Sciences,College of Pure and Applied Sciences. He completed his Phd from University of Dar es Salaam.

Immunomodulatory effects of Herbal extracts ( Aloe secundiflora sp, Carica papaya, Solanum incanum, Arthrospira platensis) Immunology of Parasitic infections specifically Malaria, schistosomiasis and helminthes Co- infections in parasitic diseases Bioassays and toxicological analysis of various herbal plants
