Biography
Brief Profile: Dr. Peter K. Kamau, the current Dean, School of Architecture and the Built Environment of Kenyatta University is a professional planner who holds a Doctorate (2005) and an Msc in Policy and Planning Science (2002) from The University of Tsukuba, Japan. He is also holder of an MA in Urban and Regional Planning (1994) and a BA (1990) from The University of Nairobi, Kenya. He is a Licensed Physical Planner and EIA lead Expert. His research interests are in the fields of community development research and initiatives focusing on among others; Urban Housing and Land-use systems, environmental impacts, poverty, Water resource use and human wildlife conflicts.
