(iii) Elastic wave propagation in materials, especially for nondestructive evaluation and 9 characterization of materials. (v) Internal friction and relaxation processes in materials. (vi) Thermophysical properties of solids, in particular, ceramics and granular thermal insulators. (iv) Nanotechnologies for sustainable development (e.g., water purification and solar cells).
