Research Interest

Mycotoxicology – Identification & characterization of mycotoxigenic fungi ; detection & quantification of m ycotoxins in foods. I have mainly worked on mycotoxin contamination of cereals and peanuts. Microbiology – Research on m icrobes and their m anagement . I have mainly worked on plant pathogens and how to manage them using conventional methods (pesticides) as well as biological control using metabolites produced by Bacillus and Streptomyces species.
