Biography
Asad Kausar is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Nanyang Business School since 2011. He was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Manchester before joining NTU. His research has been published in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, and European Accounting Review. Dr Kausar’s primary teaching interests include financial reporting, financial statement analysis, and doctoral seminars on market-based empirical auditing/accounting research.
Research Interest
Dr Kausar’s main research interests are in the areas of financial reporting and disclosure, audit research, capital markets, financial distress, market anomalies, and behavioral finance.
