Biography
"Ivy Kwan is an Associate Professor (Practice) with the Division of Strategy, Management & Organization at Nanyang Business School (NBS). As the Assistant Dean of Career Services, she currently leads the Graduate Services Career Development Office (GSCDO) at NBS, helping graduate talents achieve their career aspirations with leading organizations and managing employer relations with 300+ firms globally. A leading expert in advising senior CXO-level leaders and board members within the Asia Pacific region, Ivy has over 10 years of experience as an Associate Partner (equiv.) with McKinsey & Company, consulting to clients in the Financial Services and Private Equity sectors. Ivy's expertise include building up new businesses, turning around business models, and driving large-scale transformation & change management programs. Ivy had held the role of Global Director of Employer Engagement at INSEAD, residing in France, and had played a senior leadership role in transforming INSEAD's Career Development Center. Combined with a decade of front-line banking experience in Investment Banking, Corporate/Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and Private Banking with leading financial institutions (UBS AG, BNP Paribas, and DBS Bank), Ivy possesses deep finance expertise in debt origination and non-performing loans restructuring. Ivy holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, USA; and is a proud alumni of NBS where she received her B.Bus (Hons)."
