Biography
Prof Gupta is currently in the School of Business since 2006. She received her Bachelor degree from Loreto College, Kolkatta, India and her Master and PhD degree from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA respectively. Her research interests include shared cognition in teams as well as antecedents and consequences of individual behaviors within teams She has published in Management Science.
Research Interest
Prof Gupta's areas of expertise are shared cognition in teams and individual behaviors within teams. Her current research focuses on the influence of knowledge distribution structures on team outcomes, impression formation in teams, and deviant behaviors in teams and organizations.
