Biography
Dr Philip Wong graduated as a medical doctor from the National University of Singapore in 1989 and completed a 2 year clinical and research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital from 1999-2001. He is currently a senior consultant cardiologist at the National Heart Center Singapore. His subspecialitiy is Interventional Cardiology and he has performed more than 2000 clinical cases of angioplasty and stenting. His research interests is in basic cardiovascular research, particularly in the field of stem cell repair of the heart, as well as medical devices such as stents and other intravascular imaging devices
