Biography
"Dr Qu is currently an Assistant Professor of the Division of Chinese at NTU and Faculty Advisory Committee Member of Chinese Heritage Centre, Singapore. He was awarded by China Scholarship Council to be an Honorary Fellow at University of Wisconsin-Madison and awarded by U.S. Department of State to be a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University. He received many scholarships and awards, such as Fulbright Scholarship, Nanyang Education Award, China Government Scholarship, Peking University PhD Fellowship, May Fouth Award , and Huangzang Award. He was invited by Zhejiang Gongshang University, National Taiwan University, National University of Singapore, Confucius Institute at NTU, University of Houston, and University of Colorado-Boulder to give keynote speeches and academic talks. Past research work, funded and unfunded, he has produced tangible results in Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English in the form of 3 scholarly books, 17 book chapters, 31 journal articles, and 4 book reviews in P. R. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom."
