Ohjoon Kwon

Biography

Mr. Oh-Joon Kwon has been the Chief Executive Officer of POSCO since March 14, 2014. Mr. Kwon served as the President of POSCO since March 2012 and served as its Chief Technology Officer since March 1, 2011. He served as an Executive Vice President, Senior Executive Vice President and General Superintendent of Technical Research Laboratories, Operating and Technology Division at POSCO. He served as Senior Vice President and Vice President of European Union Office at POSCO. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at RIST (Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology). He served as the Chairman of POSCO. He has been Vice Chairman of the Board for World Steel Association since October 2017. He serves as Representative Director at POSCO and POSCO Group Academy. He has been a Member of Executive Committee at World Steel Association since October 5, 2014.
