Biography
Dae-Hyun Kim has been working in department of mechanical and automotive engineering at Seoul National University of Science and Technology as a professor since September 2006. He is currently developing several optical fiber sensor systems for monitoring of civil infra-structures and mechanical systems. His current research interests are optical sensor systems, NDE/NDT, structural health monitoring (SHM), composite materials, structural analysis, etc. He worked at University of California Irvine as a post-doctoral researcher from October 2004 to August 2006. He received B.S. and M.S. degree from department of aerospace engineering, Korea advanced institute of science and technology(KAIST), in 1997 and 1999 respectively; Ph. D degree from department of mechanical engineering, KAIST, in 2004.
