Former Executive President Global Sales SONGWON Industrial Group, Dieter Morath has turned his attention to guiding the company’s future development, which includes exploring and pursuing both organic and inorganic opportunities that support SONGWON’s long term growth strategy. He is empowered to leverage the necessary resources from all of SONGWON’s divisions across the globe, in order to successfully manage the specific strategic initiatives.

Initially the only producer of plastic additives in Korea, SONGWON has grown to become a leading specialty chemicals player worldwide .Specialty chemicals are used for a wide range of industries and application. Strong focus on research and innovation enables SONGWON to identify new opportunities and help customers in numerous sectors gain competitive edge.Recent and upcoming developments include specialty chemicals for fast-moving industries such as electronics, as well as coating additives and functional monomers for a wide variety of applications. In 2016, in light of the vast experience and extensive knowhow gained over the years by our teams in the field of high-quality polymer stabilizers, expanding beyond this into the broader field of specialty chemicals was the next logical step for our company.
