Biography
Tae is a Member of College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) / Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). He is also a graduate of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BScPT) which he obtained at South Korea’s renown Yonsei University in 2008. Tae began his career in South Korea working for several years at hospital with neurological patients (stroke, Spinal cord Injury) and in Samsung Medical Centre and Samsung Electronics as an Orthopaedic Physiotherapist (Common musculoskeletal conditions, especially neck pain and low back pain from prolonged sitting). In 2013, Tae immigrated to Canada where he completed the Physiotherapy Bridging Program at University of Toronto. His subsequent residencies included Princess Margaret and Toronto Rehab Institute at their Outpatient Orthopaedic department. Tae’s approach is finding fundamental/underlying causes of symptom through thorough physical assessment. He also utilizes manual joint mobilization, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Technique, Therapeutic exercise, Active Rehab Program, Individualized home exercise program, Postural re-education, Vestibular Rehab, Pain control modalities (ultrasound, laser therapy) as needed.
