Tanweer Khalfay

Biography

Mr. Tanweer Ahmad Khalfay serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Qurain Petrochemical Industries Co KSC (QPIC). He joined the Company in 2005. He has more than 30 years experience in the fields of financial management, accounting and investment. He heads the Finance function in QPIC covering accounting, costing, budgeting, tax and treasury functions. Prior to joining QPIC, he worked for Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) for fifteen years heading various aspects of finance. He was with Ernst & Young, Mumbai, India as a Senior Audit Manager, Kuwait International Investment Company, Ernst & Young -Kuwait, A. F. Ferguson & Co. and KPMG where progressed from an Articled Student Trainee through to an Audit Manager. He holds a Degree in Commerce and Law from Bombay University, India and is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is registered for Level III with the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts - CFA.
