Biography
Hosnia Hashim was named as EQUATE Board Chairperson during September 2016. Throughout a career spanning over 30 years, Hashim held a number of leading roles at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) and Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) in the upstream business, from reservoir management activities to corporate-scale projects. In addition, she is serving on the boards of several prominent local and international organizations. Respectively in the past, Hashim held the posts of KOC Deputy Managing Director of North Kuwait and KUFPEC Vice President Operations. Currently, she is Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) Deputy CEO for Olefins & Aromatics. Hosnia obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University.
