Biography
Mohammad Husain took over as EQUATE President & CEO in April 2012. With over 30 years of extensive professional service, Husain held various leading posts, administrative and technical, at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) and finally at Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) as Deputy Chairman & Deputy Managing Director for Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery. In addition, he served on EQUATE Board of Directors from 2004-2012. Having held several leadership positions and board memberships, Husain's overall competencies and areas of expertise include exploration, development and production of oil and gas, petrochemical and downstream activities, as well as corporate planning and strategy development. Husain is also a board member of the Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA), as well as other local and international organizations. Mohammad holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the US-based University of Tulsa.
