Biography

 Thaleia Kariorti is a trained physiotherapist who provides rehabilitative care across a range of areas and specialties, including neurological physiotherapy, stroke rehabilitation, sport injuries, general orthopedic physiotherapy, knee and ankle conditions, spinal issues and injuries, and home care rehabilitation. Prior to joining FSRI in 2014, Thaleia worked in a private rehabilitation clinic in Athens for three years where she treated patients with both orthopedic and neurological conditions, in addition to working with a range of athletes at sports clubs. With her patients, Thaleia is committed to guiding and counseling them to first understand their condition, before working with them to achieve their treatment goals and objectives. Thaleia holds a Master of Science in Advancing Physiotherapy Practice from Coventry University in the United Kingdom, having completed her studies in 2014. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Technological University of Athens in 2010, and after her graduation completed several professional courses and certifications. Thaleia continues to enhance her professional skills: in 2011 she obtained a Certificate in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and then in 2013, she received a Certificate in Kinesio Taping.
