Biography
Mr. De Villiers’s has over 35 years’ experience in the civil engineering and construction industries, over 20 of which have been with KEO. He has worked in a wide range of capacities for design, consultancy and construction management companies as well as for contractors. He has been involved with projects all across the Gulf region – Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, as well as Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Kazakhstan and Iran. Mr. de Villiers’s comprehensive experience covers infrastructure, marine, residential, office and mixed use projects including complex, large scale urban and resort developments. Mr. de Villiers holds a Bachelor of Science (Quantity Surveying) degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
