Biography
Ms. Chant is a highly qualified sustainability expert and leader with over 16 years’ experience in the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the USA. She joined KEO in 2009 and is responsible for overseeing a variety of sustainability processes including LEED, Estidama, and GSAS. She leads a diverse team of experts in KEO’s Sustainability Unit, and is responsible for implementing corporate sustainability policies and practices across the company. Ms. Chant is an excellent communicator and a highly effective public speaker on sustainability issues. She has educated design professionals, municipal officials and individuals within corporate entities on the principles of sustainability. She has also contributed to public policy development and driven thought leadership at numerous conferences and architectural competitions. Her reputation as one of the Gulf region’s leading sustainability authorities is complemented by her energy and leadership skills. She was selected as the first sustainability professional to win “Principal of the Year” at the Middle East Architect Awards in 2012. Ms. Chant holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, and a Master in Sustainability and Environmental Management degree from Harvard University, USA.
