Biography
Mr. Farouq Hussein Al Zanki is Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation since 2011. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Oklahoma University, United States since1976 as well as a Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Oklahoma University, United States since1980. Mr. Al Zanki has served in Kuwait Oil Company from July 1980 until 2007 and has held several job positions including, petroleum engineer in 1980, a superintendent of the Reservoir Control in 1982, a general superintendent of the Reservoirs Department in 1991, a deputy chairman and executive assistant to the managing director in 1999.
