Biography
Abdel F. (Abby) Badwi is the interim Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Energy. Mr. Badwi is the Executive Chairman of GrowMax Resources Corp. He is a petroleum industry executive with more than 40 years’ upstream experience in implementing exploration, development and acquisition projects in Canada and internationally. He previously served as President and Chief Executive of Bankers Petroleum Ltd. from 2008 to 2013 and Vice Chairman until 2016. He also served as President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Rally Energy Corp from 2005 to 2007, as well as President of Corundum Energy Ltd from 2003 to 2005. He has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alexandria, Egypt and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
