Biography

Member of the Latvian Dental Association, member of the board of certification and recertification. Lecturer of Riga Stradiņš University and programme manager of the Residency in Endodontics. Manager of pre-graduate and postgraduate training in endodontics. Carried out a study about the microbiology of dental roots before retreatment, author of many scientific publications. In 1994 graduated the Medical Academy of Latvia. In 1998 graduated post-graduate studies in endodontics. From 2005 to 2008 studied doctoral studies in Riga Stradiņš University. In 1999 within the TEMPUS PHARE project studied in the Dentistry School of the Medical College of Wales University. In 2005 studied a course of microbiology in the University of Oslo. Regular participant and lecturer in conferences in Latvia and regular participant in conferences of the Association of European Endodontists and scientific conferences of Baltic dentists. In 2008 attended the 3rd Scientific Conference of Baltic Dentists, Conference of Lithuanian Endodontists and 66th Conference of the University of Latvia. In 2009 attended the Conference of the Association of European Endodontists in Great Britain, Scientific Conference of Riga Stradiņš University. In 2010 attended a conference of Endodontics in Lithuania.
