Biography
Graduated from Riga Medical Institute in 1989 with excellence Worked as a neurosurgeon at Gaiļezers Clinical Hospital until 2007 From 2007-2015 Head doctor of neurosurgery clinic P.Stradiņa KUS, lecturer at RSU Neurology and Neurosurgery Department until 2014 Since 2013 Periodically worked as a neurosurgeon in the United Kingdom (Liverpool at the Walton Center and London St.Georges Hospital) He trained in the USA in September-December 1993 (Keggi Foundation). Graduated from the Association of European Neurosurgeons Associations in 1996 Graduated from Helsinki University Neurosurgery Clinic (prof. Hernesniemi) in 2003 Active participant in the development of neurosurgery in Latvia - Chairman of the Latvian Neurosurgeons Association 2008-2014, President of the Association of Baltic Neurosurgeons 2009-2012, Member of the European Neurosurgery Associations Association Education Commission 2008-2014
