Biography
2016 to this moment - Doctoral student at the Riga Stradiņš University Doctoral program in the '' Medicine '' program. 2009-2014 - Postgraduate professional study program "Surgery" of the Riga Stradins University Faculty of Continuing Education (surgeon certificate). 2003-2009 - Riga Stradins University Faculty of Medicine (doctor's degree). Dr. Sergey Shapovalov, a certified surgeon who has acquired his previous experience as a surgeon at P. Stradin's Clinical University Hospital, Rezekne Hospital Surgeon and Head of Surgery. He attended international training courses and seminars in several European countries, improving his experience in laparoscopic surgery and proctology. Every day, surgery is performed in acute and planned surgery. A member of the professional associations - the Latvian Surgeons Association and the US Hepatopankreatobiliary association
