Biography
The Chairman of the Council of JSC Olainfarm since August 16, 2016. Since 2014, I. Godmanis has been an associate professor at the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA) and a lecturer at the University of Latvia and the business college Turība. He previously held the mandate of a European Parliament member, as well as the post of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Minister for the Interior of the Republic of Latvia, Minister for Finance of the Republic of Latvia, a Board member of JSC Latvijas kuģniecība, the president of JSC Latvijas Krājbanka, as well as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia. I. Godmanis graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of Latvia, majoring in solid-state physics, and earned a doctoral degree in physics.
