Biography
Born in 1952. After graduation from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Latvia, since 1974 he has been working at the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis, where he received a chemistry pamphlet in 1982.degree. Since 2001 he has been operating the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry. Awarded with Paul Walden and Solomon Hiller's medals, is a corresponding member of the Latvian Academy of Music. Scientific interests are related to various aspects of organic (small heterocycle and natural product synthesis methodology) and medical chemistry (anti-cancer drug design) aspects.
