Biography
Chirinne Zebib is the Course Instructor for “ Essentials of Public Relations” and “New Media Communications” undergraduate courses at the Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts at Al-Maaref University. Her specialism is theories and applications of public relations as well as the sociology of new media. She also has an interest in Islamic feminism and the politics of patriarchies. She has previously worked as a journalist at AlBalad French Newspapers and as a reporter and anchor for IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting). Chirinne holds a Master of Political science from Saint-Joseph University where her thesis focused on the emergence of new Islamic feminine strategies against patriarchal societies. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political science from the American University of Beirut.
