Hussin J. Hejase

Biography

Hussin J. Hejase is the Dean of The Faculty of Business Administration at the Al Maaref University in Beirut. He has worked at several universities and industries in Mexico, USA, and Lebanon (AUB, BUC, LAU, NDU, Kaslik, AZAD, and AUST). Born in Torreon, Mexico in 1957. Received the B.E. in Industrial and Chemical Engineering and M.E. in Chemical Engineering: Process Systems, degrees from Laguna Institute of Technology and Monterrey Institute of Technology & Higher Studies, Mexico in 1980 and 1981. In 1981, he joined the Manufacturing Engineering division, Vitro Flex, S.A., Mexico. From 1983 to 1992, he earned his Ph.D. in Solid State Science & Technology in addition to five Master Degrees (Solid State Sci. & Tech. (M.S. & M.Phil.), Chemical Eng. & Materials Sci. (M.S.), Electrical Eng. (M.S.), and Information Resources Management (M.S.), all from Syracuse University, USA. He is a holder of one US Patent, and author of more than 150 scientific papers published in refereed journals and conferences. Presently, beside the academic track, he is engaged in consulting and training in several corporations and institutions in Lebanon, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. He is a member of several management professional associations.
