Bishara Atiyeh

Biography

"Dr. Bishara Atiyeh is a Clinical Professor, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the American University of Beirut Medical Center among other titles. Dr Atiyeh graduated from the American University of Beirut, got his plastic surgery training from the Mc Gill University of Montreal and his fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology from Rosewell Park Memorial Institute of Buffalo. Dr Atiyeh is the current President of the Euro-Mediterranean Council for Burns and Fire Disasters, President of the Lebanese Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery and the Executive Editor of the Annals of Burns and Fire Disasters. Dr. Atiyeh is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board, International Confederation of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS) holding the position of Chairman of Training and accreditation. Dr Atiyeh has organized several local, regional and international congresses and instructional courses and was invited as a guest speaker to more than 100 conferences; he is as well the author of more than 120 scientific publications and chapters in reference books"
