Mr. Joseph J. Anis has been the Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East & Africa Region at GE Power Service since July 22, 2016. Mr. Anis has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Power Services Business for the Middle East & Africa at General Electric Company since July 2016. Mr. Anis served as Vice President of Sales, Power Generation Services - GE Power & Water, a subsidiary of General Electric Company since October 2012. Mr. Anis served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East at GE Energy from June 2007 to September 2012. He served as Vice President of the Middle East at GE Energy Management, Inc., a subsidiary of General Electric Co. since August 2010. He served as Region Executive for the Middle East at GE Energy Management, Inc. from June 6, 2007 to August 2010. Mr. Anis started his career with GE in 1997 at the GE Power Controls joint venture in Cairo. Mr. Anis moved to GE Energy in 2000 as the e-Business Leader for the Africa, India and Middle East Region. In 2001, Mr. Anis was appointed Power Generation Sales Manager for the United Arab Emirates and in 2005 was appointed Power Generation Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Anis earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Syracuse University in New York.
