Biography
Ms. Barbara N. Turner is currently employed at University Research Co., LLC in the position of President. She has over 35 years of experience in international public health and development, primarily with the U.S. Agency for International Development. She also spent several years with the Rockefeller Foundation Health and Environment Programs. For USAID she was in charge of the foreign assistance budget development (over $14 billion) and associated policy. She also led development activities in the former Soviet Union and the Balkans, served as a Public Health Officer for the Middle East and Asia, and was a leader in introducing innovative public-private partnerships. She has a Master Degree in International Health from Johns Hopkins University and BA in Public Administration.
