Biography
Farid Khoury is an Assistant professor of cultural studies and ancient civilizations. Since 1993, Mr. Khoury has been teaching courses in higher education in subject area of Humanities, ancient civilizations and cultural studies. He joined RHU in 2009 as a part time faculty. Mr. Khoury received his first undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Middle East University, Beirut, Lebanon in 1989; Master of Arts in Ancient Religions from La Sierra University, CA, USA in 1993; License in Arts and Archaeology from Lebanese University, Beirut, Lebanon in 1997; Diploma of Higher Studies in Arts and Archaeology from Lebanese University, Beirut, Lebanon in 1991; his Master of Science (Econ) in Information and Library Studies from Aberystwyth University, Wales, UK in 2010. In addition to his teaching, Farid has participated in various local and international archaeological excavations; organized youth activities, field trips and sponsored several student clubs. He is currently Lebanon’s correspondent for the “Archaeological Diggings” Magazine; executive member of “Muntada al Kalimat”, and member of the Lebanese Library Association.
